My Experience of Tamilpadam - Review

A movie made only for comedy. All the tamil heroes are targetted for comedy. This movie is a spoof on commercial mass movies that follow the same formula. Hero will fall in love with a rich girl, however she is out of reach of him and definitely gets her and then fights with her father who is a damn politician for the sake of his ethics. Well as per the story, plot and acting , both deserves a rating of 3 star. Every cliché and formula that makes mass movies has been lampooned in a funny manner that tickles the funny bone. Our hero Shiva (Mirchi Shiva) is born on a rainy day in a village and the new born speaks to his grandmother (Parvai Muniamma) that his dream is to go to Chennai to become a man for all seasons like a typical Tamil film hero. In Chennai, the boy pedals on a cycle and as years pass become a larger than life hero who takes on the scum of the earth and turns into the “friendly neighbourhood guy who gets things done.”

Like all Tamil heroes he goes to college and hangs around with his friends Nakul (MS Bhaskar), Siddharth (Manobala) and Bharath (Venniradai Moorthy) a dig at Tamil cinemas ageing comedians who pretend to be students. Shiva falls in love with a classmate (Disha Pandey), and does everything a regular Tamil hero does to win the heroine in films like Kadhalukku Mariyathai, Mouna Ragam, Mozhi etc. When the heroine’s father says he will not allow his daughter to marry a poor man with no job, Shiva works overtime and becomes a tycoon overnight just like what Rajinikanth did in Annamalai, Padyappa, Sivajietc, etc. Meanwhile it is revealed that he is an undercover cop who wants to exterminate the criminals in the city. Shiva’s method of eliminating the criminals are far better than what Vijay did in Tirupachi and Pokkiri, Suriya inGhajini and Khakka Khakka, Vikram in Anniyan and Kamal Hassan in Apoorva Sahodrakal. Even more hilarious is how Shiva goes back to his village in search of his father who abandoned him many years back. And the climax is when he discovers who runs the ‘D’ company is hilarious.

 On the downside, it gets predictable post interval though the film is only 2 hours and 5 minutes. Pot shots have been taken liberally at Rajinikanth and Vijay while some other superstars have been spared.
Some of the most stupid moments but thoroughly enjoyable are Shiva’s classical dance piece to impress his girl friend, and rip off of many fight scenes (mainly from Vijay films), court scene and the judge in the climax, and popular dialogues of Kamal and Vijaykanth. The director and dialogue writer CS Amudhan’s laughs are spot on, punctuated by the scripts outrageous glossary of over-the-top depiction of Tamil film stereotypes. Nirav Shah’s camera and Kannan’s music mainly the song O Maha Zeeya..

Sania Mirza engagement called off by her parents

Sania Mirza, the leading tennis star got engaged to her long time friend Mohammad in Hyderabad in July 2009 and it was one of the hot topics that time. Sania Mirza's family has reportedly called off her engagement to Mohammad Sohrab Mirza. The reason is not known completely. According to a media report, she confirmed it saying, "We were friends for half a decade, but found ourselves incompatible during our engagement period. I wish Sohrab the best in life". MUMBAI FINALLY WINS POLLARD

Mumbai were much eager to get Pollard in their side. They were aggressive on bidding on pollard. With four other teams bidding on him they won pollard in a tie breaker. They came for Kieron Pollard, the explosive Trinidad allrounder, and they got him. The bidding started at $200,000 and Mumbai entered the race when the price rose to around $260,000. That was it for Mumbai at the auction, for they had exhausted their purse, but Nita Ambani was thrilled with her victory. They now have two exciting West Indian allrounders - Pollard and Dwayne Bravo. Mumbai also signed up Harshal Patel, the last of the U-19 players available in the draft. Pollard feels happy to be in the Mumbai Indians side along with Sachin Tendulkar.

Plus it has applications like Fridge which act as a pin board where you can leave messages for friends and Document Courier which lets you upload a file to your PC from anywhere. It can even double as a live messenger. You also have the option of making your shared files public or password protected, but I would have loved it to have multiple usernames and passwords. Since UPNP is enabled by default on most routers, there is no need to change setting to get this feature to work. I have always liked Opera's Notes feature, but would have loved the ability to attach the notes to specific websites. Also users have to configure their email in Opera or use a webmail service such as Yandex, Fastmail, OperaMail or Mail.ru to send the notes to a friend. It would have been better if there was direct integration with either Yahoo or Gmail.
