TAMILNADU GOVT. DECLARES LEAVE FOR SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES TODAY (6/11/09)

Due to two low pressures in the Bay of Bengal Tamilnadu receives heavy rainfall. Trichy, tuticorin (thoothukudi),velankanni and other states in the south receives very heavy  rainfall from the past 24 hours. In chennai it has been  raining continuously from the previous day night. The Meteorological Dept. has predicted very heavy heavy rainfall in Tamilnadu for the next 24 hours. So the TN Govt. has declared leave for schools and colleges in trichy, tuticorin, velankanni, thiruvallur, kancheepuram, pudukottai, ramanathapuram, tirunelveli. Even in chennai, the mayor announced leave for  municipality schools
