In chennai it is being released in mayajaal, satyam, devi, thyagaraja, vetri, udhayam, kasi, inox, albert, abirami etc. The film Kandasamy is being released on 21st August. The mega budget made on par with Hollywood has Vikram and Shreya in the lead. Susi Ganesan has directed this film. Kalai Puli Dhanu has produced this film. World class technology has been used in this film. There is a lor of expectation for the last few months among the fans. They were expecting the release of this film every month. But the film was delayed because of the graphics, mixing and re-recording work.
